Raquel DuBoulay-Chastanet is a founding partner of the firm of Du Boulay, Anthony & Co and a Notary Royal.

Raquel was born and raised in St.Lucia but went abroad to pursue her studies. She graduated from the University of Western Ontario, Canada with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and Philosophy and from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdom with a degree in law. She graduated with highest honours from the McHari Institute’s Trust Programme in Nassau, Bahamas in 2001 when she obtained her Masters Degree.

After a few years of practice in civil litigation in St.Lucia, Raquel accepted a position as head of the Trust department for Banco Atlantico in Nassau, Bahamas, one of Europe’s oldest and most established banks. The following year, she became the youngest Vice President at Espirito Santo Bank in Miami, Florida heading up the Trust and Investments department which position she held until she returned to St.Lucia.

Raquel is a member of the Bars of England and Wales as well as St.Lucia.

Practice Areas: General Civil with an emphasis on conveyancing, real estate, insurance law, personal injury, litigation, corporate law, debt collection, family law and succession.

Michelle was educated at the University of the West Indies, Barbados and the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and was called to the Saint Lucia Bar in 1996.

She is a founding partner of the law firm of Du Boulay, Anthony & Company and a Notary Royal. Although much of her practice involves litigation, Michelle is also one of the few qualified Mediators in Saint Lucia and has been retained to mediate a number of highly complex matters which were before the High Court.

Michelle was born in Saint Lucia but has lived in Barbados, Trinidad, and England. She is an active member of the Saint Lucia Bar Association, having been Secretary for a period of three years and is currently an elected Bar Council Member. She has a keen interest in Legal Aid and has been actively working with the local Bar to establish a Legal Aid Clinic in Saint Lucia.

From 1996 Michelle has been engaged in private practice on the island, first through Anthony & Associates and then through the Chambers of Chong & Co until December 2004
